Last night he took me through the comet's tail
As the satellite blazed a hot white light as he lifted up the
veil
Back to the water and his eyes in the sky
He sang a sweet sad tale that told me of his child

Lost among the swells of a stormy night
Mama didn't came, she never heard him cry
Now he's spinning out around among the satellites
The sun went down and the moon began to rise
As we flew into the darkness he was beaconed by a light
And there along the sandy shore he found another child
He led her to the water, he let her talk for awhile

Now he gave her his own tears before he said goodbye
